Refrigeration or chilling is stabilizing. Helps to avoid homopolymerization.
Chillers start at 4 tons and rise to levels as needed. Chill tank cars, ISO containers. Any steam jacketed vessel is chillable.
- The water-glycol mix is pumped into the ISO container (pump running)
- The chiller unit is turned on
- The contents are cooled
- Turn off the chiller
- Turn on the compressor
- Chase the fluid back to the reservoir.
- Shut everything down.
